If you are in the situation where you have recently left a relationship, you will want to protect yourself and your finances. This sections contains information about what payments and services are available through the government (Centrelink) and how best to deal with them; how to  keep yourself and your children safe in your home, including keeping your mail private; what alternative longer term accommodation options are available; and how to access legal support.
